Hi Nicole,
Hope you’re well! Please find enclosed cd with fashion show that your girls worked on. Hope you like it as much as we do!! Just want to reiterate what a great job the girls did. The make up was fab and they responded to the brief given to them extremely well as well as adding to what we asked them to do – which was just brilliant. They were all totally professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. They really did you proud. If you want anything else from the show please do get in touch.
Best Regards, Nicole de Main

I had looked into quite a few courses based in London and decided that the LMA sounded like it would suit me best. It seemed to me that the LMA was the most realistic option as a make up course, its length, time and professional contacts made it sound the most appropriate for me.
I had a small amount of make up experience from my education at drama school, and I knew it was a career option I wanted to explore further. I was not however in a position to stop working to do a full time course or pay a huge fee, I wasn’t ready to commit like that to something I has such little experience of already.
Other courses I looked at required day time teaching and a large fee. On speaking to Nicole directly several times I realised the content and very small class sizes would give me a fantastic chance to the make the idea of working as a make up artist a reality without making myself unemployed with rent still to pay.
The course is very hands on, so you get practical experience of everything, so there is nothing you can’t or won’t be able to do. The small sized classes mean that you get a lot of attention in a relaxed and professional environment, as well as being able to develop your own unique style without getting lost.
The combination of teachers and speakers mean you get a broader picture of the industry, and points of view from all the different angles within the make up world. The overall structure of the course leaves you with clear and no doubt invaluable advice as how to start your career as a make up artist.
There is a strong connection with Nicole not just as a teacher but as an advisor as well, and with the other students from my own class as well as previous courses before me. This is fantastic for when you are starting out and need to build up a good portfolio.
I would strongly recommend this course to anyone who is dreaming of working for themselves in the make up industry. The combination of skilled teaching and advice is leading me to work experience and test shoots only a matter of weeks after my completion of my course. I am so glad that I have and I know that this course has suited me brilliantly.
Testimonial Jacqueline O’Flynn - London Make-Up Academy
I embarked on a life long ambition to train as a professional Make-Up Artist. In doing so it was vital that I chose the right school for me that would provide me with the very best in training and support. I decided on the Hair, Nail and Make-Up programme with the London Make-Up Academy as it ticked all the boxes that I was looking for in a reputable course. After completing the programme, I can honestly say that the course was everything and more than I had hoped for.
The course provided me with an in-depth training in Make-Up and Hair artistry. The support that the school gave me throughout the course was excellent. It enabled me to gain the confidence that was necessary to embark on my professional career as a Make-Up Artist. I have pursued a varied career in the Fashion, Music and Commercial industry.
This support, I am delighted to say, has continued even after I gained my Certificate. The school has continued to offer me guidance and support and I have even received job bookings through them! I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to train as a professional Make-up Artist.
